Son of soccer legend will tour Route 66 February 25, 2006

Calum Best, the male-model son of late former soccer star George Best, is going to drive Route 66 on a motorcycle for a television show, according to the Belfast Independent.
Riding with him will be Fran Cosgrave, a co-winner of a reality show, “Celebrity Love Island.”

It’s happening during the annual event in Edwardsville, Ill., according to the Edwardsville Intelligencer.
Auditions for the talent show will be in late March and early April and the talent show will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 9 and group talent will take place on Saturday.
Individuals may preform any of their talents such as dance, voice, comic, magic and so on. Community members are encouraged to participate.
“Last year we had a phenomenal success with the talent show,” Executive Director of the Edwardsville Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce Carol Foreman said. “There will be cash prizes and we are still looking for a sponsor for this particular event.”
