Life-size models of Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) and Sally Carrera (voiced by Bonnie Hunt) from the upcoming Pixar movie "Cars" will be touring the country during the "Cars Road Trip '06," according to a news release from DMN Newswire. State Farm is the big sponsor of the event.
The tour will go through 40 cities, including the Route 66 towns of Los Angeles (May 10-12 and June 11-18), Tulsa (June 23-24), St. Louis (June 26) and Chicago (April 27 and July 8-11).

Also, this news release from Modern Tire Dealer says Goodyear is the tire supplier for the tour. It also says Goodyear retail shops will give away "Cars" soundtracks to its customers starting next month. I haven't seen a track listing for the soundtrack, but I've been told it includes Randy Newman, Sheryl Crow, James Taylor and others.
