Yahoo! posted this video of someone who drove from Portland, Maine, to Los Angeles and videotaped the whole thing at one second per mile. It’s equivalent to road-tripping at 1,000 mph.
It’s all interstate, but I did glimpse some landmarks familiar to Route 66 travelers, including Tucumcari Mountain, some New Mexico mesas and Kaibab National Forest in Arizona.
