- An anonymous poster on LiveJournal puts up a few black-and-white photographs of the rapidly decaying Shalimar Inn on Route 66 in Gallup, N.M., which probably will see the wrecking ball soon.
- Jabopper and Fajzha continue their motorcycle tour of Route 66 through Illinois and a part of Missouri.
- Roger Kramer’s Favorite Cycling Tours reports that there now are cue sheets for cyclers wanting to ride the Route 66 Trail in Illinois. Maps can be found here.
