- Jerome Prophet has been posting pictures of window murals from the International Route 66 Mother Road Festival in Springfield, Ill.
- Brent’s Blog is doing a Route 66 trip to Vegas.

- Deb W at Sola Fide — Justified by Faith Alone in Christ has pictures from the dizzying top of the Sandia Mountains near Albuquerque and the city’s Nob Hill district.
- It’s chili pepper season in New Mexico. Janet Ann of Out in the Middle of Somewhere even got a photo of a fellow roasting chilis on old 66 in Albuquerque. She says the aromas around the city this time of year are heavenly.
