I haven’t a blog roundup in a while, so here goes:
- Zinger at LiveJournal’s Found Photos community blog has posted this and this from Roll 3 of photos a middle-aged couple’s Route 66 trip.
- Vulpesrex writes a long road journal about a trip from Needles, Calif., to Peach Springs, Ariz.
- Kate goes to Albuquerque and posts photos of the Old Town neighborhood.
- Eric announced that he’s posted some photos of Route 66 on Flickr. They’re very nice.
- Ben’s Cross Country Motorcycle Trip Log contains good photos from Oklahoma along the Mother Road.
- Gaz and
herhis fiance Tave are riding a motorcycle from Chicago to San Diego, with stops on Route 66, and showing their adventures on their Azazil.net blog.

Here’s an item about the Oklahoma Centennial Film Festival in Tulsa from the Daily Oklahoman that should interest roadies:
Author and Route 66 expert Michael Wallis will host a screening of the animated film “Cars” (2006), in which Wallis provides the voice of the sheriff, at the Riverwalk at 6 p.m. Nov. 10. At 8 p.m., Wallis will talk about Route 66 in a program titled “InCARnations of the Mother Road.” Wallis also will host a special screening of “The Grapes of Wrath” at 9 p.m.
Tickets are available online at the Circle Cinema.

I’m not totally sure what this YouTube video is about, but I like it. It’s titled “Route 66.”
