Food Network show checks out Route 66 restaurants October 21, 2007

The “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” show on the Food Network visited several Route 66 restaurants in its latest installment.
The show included Cafe on the Route in Baxter Springs, Kan.; the Rock Cafe in Stroud, Okla.; and Emma Jean’s Holland Burger Cafe in Victorville, Calif.
If you missed it, you can see the “Route 66″ episode at these times: 5:30 p.m. Oct. 21, 11:30 p.m. Oct. 21, 2:30 a.m. Oct. 22, 8:30 p.m. Nov. 23, 3:30 a.m. Nov. 24, 10 p.m. Dec. 10, 1 a.m. Dec. 11, 11:30 p.m. Dec. 23, and 2:30 a.m. Dec. 24. All times are Eastern.
UPDATE: KOTV in Tulsa tells about one venerable restaurant that the Food Network’s site failed to mention — Clanton’s Cafe in Vinita, Okla.



nice to see the food network’s salute to the mother road. just one question…..where the heck was the ‘vette?
