Route 66 Casino Hotel grand opening is Jan. 10 January 3, 2008

The Route 66 Casino Hotel in Albuquerque is set for a grand opening on Jan. 10. The casino’s site is here, and the Route 66 connection is played up fairly significantly. The Pueblo of Laguna runs the casino.

The site’ss 2008 Calendar Girls also contains a lot of vintage cars. In the June image, you’ll see Cadillac Ranch near Amarillo.

The Route 66 Casino has been open for a couple of years. It’s a fun place to visit even for non-gamblers. This grand opening is for the new hotel. In fact, I see they are having a special rate of $66!

Thanks for the correction. I knew about a casino new ABQ, but I wasn’t sure that was the same one.
